WOW! These last couple of weeks have gone by so fast! We are loving living in Utah and being closer to our families :-) We have had a crazy month-in-a-half since we moved home but we have got a lot done! The best news of all.......
Wyatt passed the boards!!!
Wyatt passed the boards!!!
He is now an official Pharmacist!
We are so proud of you!
Here are some pictures of the things we have been up to lately......
Wyatt took his NAPLEX (pharmacy boards) up in Billings, Montana. So my parents and Uncle AJ babysat while Wyatt and I DROVE to Montana! On the way there, in Butte, Montana,Wyatt said out of the blue "Look Jesus is on the mountain!"
WHAT?! (I thought his blood sugar was low for sure!)
But he said, "No really look JESUS IS ON TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN!
I looked and sure enough this is what we saw!
I could NOT BELIEVE my eyes! It was amazing! The statue was enormous! It's actually like 90 feet tall! Oh by the way........We later found out that it is not Jesus but the Virgin Mary! It looked just like the statue of Jesus in the Visitor's Center in SLC. But its not...It's the Virgin Mary! Oops! Our bad! This statue is call the "Lady of the Rockies!" Bet you didn't know that:-)
While poor Wyatt was taking a 4 hour long test..... I got to go and do a session at the Billings, Montana Temple! That temple is AMAZING! It was gorgeous! I loved it!
THEN IT WAS OFF TO YELLOWSTONE!
Wyatt eating a snack! Ha ha!
The Wildlife:-)
Wyatt thought we needed to stop every time we saw bison.
Me on the other hand: Once you have seen about 20 they begin to look A LOT ALIKE!
We timed our visit perfect to see Ol' Faithful erupt! We only had to wait like 10 minutes before she started spouting out stuff! When she was all finished this old man with his wife looked at Wyatt and I and said in his English ascent (with total sarcasm),
"I came all the way from England to see that!?"
It was hilarious...Wyatt and I died laughing and we had to agree with him a little. I mean it is cool and all but man the way some people talk about Ol' Faithful, they act like its the most spectacular thing in the entire world! OLDER people are so funny! They just tell it like it is!
The Scenery! Beau-ti-ful! Or as Wyatt would say "PERTTY!"
Somebody must have been watching all the amazing bison instead of the road......
UNCLE AJ CAME TO PLAY FOR A FEW DAYS!
We HAD to check out the artillery at the library and HAD to take a million pictures!

Introducing:
Private AJ Nelson....
We played in the sand and built a SANDCASTLE!
Just Hangin' Out with the little man
The last few weeks Chance has pretty much mastered the whole walking thing! He LOVES to be outside and loves to run wild!
The Sharing Time Lesson was so cute! It was on forgiveness......
The lady called up one of the 7 year old boys and told him that he was going to play a guy named "MALCOM." She told a story of how Malcom got yelled at by his boss at work and how it made him so mad. So "Malcom" decided that he was going to put a rock in his pocket to remind him to be mad at his boss the next day. So the lady gave the little boy a rock to put in his pocket. Then the other primary kids got to "fish" to find out other things that made "Malcom" mad. Each time they read things that made "Malcom" mad the little boy would have to stuff more rocks in his pockets. Soon his church pant pockets were full of rocks. So the lady had him slip on a pair of her husbands khaki pants that had like 7 pockets and they continued to fill up all those pockets and then "Malcom" had to put on a big over sized coat that had like 9 pockets. The primary kids were so excited and way interested! The lady said how getting mad at people really "weighs" us down. By the end, "Malcom" couldn't even remember what each rock represented, so he decided to "unload" the weight! It was so cute and even the little sunbeams were so intent on listening! Kids are so cute! This little boy in my class gave the opening prayer and he gave the LONGEST prayer ever because he was thanking our Heavenly Father for EVERYTHING! (his shoes, clothes, all of his toys, the day, his house, family etc.) It was so cute:=)
I was laughing so hard inside because he was so serious and it was so innocent! I love little Primary KIDS! They make me SMILE:-) I'm sure I will have something to share about Primary next week! Never a boring day in Primary!

WOW!!! You guys have been busy!! I am so glad to hear you love Utah. I figured you two would be back there when he graduated :)... and congrats passing the boards!! Now he really is done and not just graduated :) gotta love that!!! Isn't Yellowstone fun... glad you got to see it!!!
Congrats on Wyatt's test! Isn't Montana awesome? I want to end up there. You guys seem to be having a fun summer. I agree that Old Faithful is a little over rated, as are buffalo.
That is way exciting about Wyatt's test. It is nice that you guys got to have a little break away from the little man. Hope all is going well...hopefully we will get to see you this weekend.
sweet ol faithful pictures! im glad you shared those with me! haha
Sounds like you guys have been busy having fun! And tell Wyatt Congrats from us!
Congrats to Wyatt! That's exciting! Looks like you guys are doing great. I taught sharing time last week too, instead of filling of pants pockets, I had a bag of rocks. I asked one of the sunbeams to carry the bag across the room, she did pretty good half of the way, they other half she was tipping a little here and there and at the end she says, "Wow, I'm drunk!" Thank goodness only me and another leader heard her, I just continued on with the lesson! :)
Hey there, remember me from the overland trail ward? Stumbled across your blog and just wanted to say congrats on finishing up school! Your little boy is adorable. Best wishes!
