Mini Family Vaca

We decided to go on one last get a way before Chance starts preschool.

Day 1: Hoogle Zoo

Highlight: Zoorassic Park at Hoogle Zoo!

Here the boys are in front of the Styracosaurus.

The dinosaurs were so fun! Chance loved them. They made life like noises and 2 of the dinosaurs even spit at you. Chance has taking a liking to dinosaurs but was a little nervous about getting too close. I don't blame him they looked and sounded so real! I didn't get a picture of the T-Rex but it was huge and Chance liked it as long as he didn't have to get to close. He asked me if it was going to eat us! haha.

Chance and the monkey!
Riding the horses.

Baylor didn't want to get off!

Highlight #2

THE ELEPHANTS

We all thought the elephants were so cool. We got to sit and watch them eat. Chance thought it was so cool that elephants eat hay just like cows and horses.

Here the boys are....

....enjoying their $4 dollar animal drinks! :)

Highlight #3

Riding the train!

Chance made train sounds the entire time.

The boys had a blast at the zoo and they both were super good, even though it was so stinkin' hot out! The wagon kept them nice and shadded. :)

We stayed down in Salt Lake and had a big slumber party at our hotel! Chance thought it was so cool to all sleep in the same room. Plus the little munchkin scored big time cause he got a huge queen sized bed all to himself!

Day 2:

COWABUNGABAY WATER PARK

I didn't get any pictures of us actually swimming cause I didn't want to have to worry about my camera. We all had so much fun! Chance loved going down all the slides and did not want to leave when it was time! We also hung out on tubes in the lazy river, which Baylor loved. We also played in the pool and both boys had a blast :)

It was so good to have some much needed family time!

Just me and the boys! :)

Bring on FALL :)

I was thinking today, I really like summer a lot...

BUT

I think I LOVE FALL MORE!

I hope we have a nice long, cool, fall.

Epic

Epic Relay 2012

Logan to Jackson Hole

A few weeks ago Wyatt and I, (with some of his extended family)ran in a relay race that started in Smithfield and went to Teton Village up in Jackson Hole. It was so much fun to hang out with his family. We had a blast. We only got about 2 hours of sleep the whole 32 hours it took us to finish, but we had a good time :)

Here is our team

ALL IN THE FAMILY

Me and Wyatt :)
I didn't get very many pictures on my camera.
I'm still waiting to get some from some of the other team members!

Summer Camp #2

Chance was so excited for his second week of Summer Camp!

Giving me the thumbs up :)
Here he is running to the car :)

28.7.11

Willow Park

In the wagon, ready to go!

Duck Food!
He was so excited to feed the ducks! He thought it was the coolest thing in the world!

Throwing food to the ducks :)

He was amazed when they found the food and gobbled it right up!

Splash Pad

After Ryan's Park, we headed over to the Splash Pad!

Oh my heck, I can't believe we haven't been here before either!

The boys LOVED it.

I think it's a lot better than the pool.

We are going to be making a few more visits here before the summer is over.

FOR SURE!

Stopping the water :)

His favorite game and all he talked about for days!

Sportin' the shades!

1 1/2 hours at the park and 1 1/2 hours at the splash pad would knock any kid right out!

Ryan's Park

We visited Ryan's Park for the first time.

Both boys were in heaven.

It is probably the nicest park we have ever been too!

There was lots to do and the boys were so upset when it was time to go.

We will definitely be going back:)

It was way hot outside.

So naturally they fought over the Gatorade :)

Tire swing!

Baylor was having the time of his life.

I literally had to pry his hands off.

Then he screamed bloody murder :)

haha.

Pure happiness!

In the airplane.

Baylor wasn't too happy when I made him get out of this either.

Baylor

I love him.

He loves being outside the most :)
